    Don't forget that there are a million things that it could have been that were totally out of your control. Could have been a bum heart, liver, kidneys...etc. Just like people sometimes drop for no apparent reason...same with critters. That was a good looking boy, sorry you lost him.

    While I agree it could be many things, it is something - there is a reason this snake died.

    A necropsy will hopefully uncover the cause.

    I've been calling around today trying to find somewhere to get one done. But of course..It's a Saturday... Any ideas on how much they cost roughly?
