    Star gazing is when the snake sits still in its enclosure and looks straight up for an extended period of time. Some will do this naturally. Especially spiders and spider morphs but it should never be an every day thing.

    It can also be a sign of IBD but that is more rare than a RI and is passed from one infected snake to another. More common in boas.

    a snake with an RI will keep its head straight up along the enclosure to clear its airway to be able to breath. they can not cough. hold your snake you wil feel a rattle if its building mucus. but i believe your snake is ok now you said. do i understand your vet was having you come in every 2 days to admister shots, thats crazy if so

    I usually clear RI without antibiotics in 2-3 weeks. just bumped the heat up in an iso tank.
