Jungle Mix is what I use, its a combo of cocunut husk and spagum moss. It holds mosture far better then any other that I have found. I only mist once every month and change the substrait once every 6 weeks.

When you add it in, make sure and leave it to sit and warm up with the screen top off and let some of the mosture evaporate. I then add the snake and the decore back in with no tape or cover over the screen top. This will allow you to watch the humidity go down on your Accurite till it gets to where you want it and then just add the cover back when its where you want it. It will stay only loosing about half a point of humidity a day or so, if that. Considering I use a ceramic heater for ambient heat and basking on the hot side and a UTH this substrate has impressed me to no end.
