    Try out some different things over the next couple days and see how the temps change.

    Still not sure where to start here.

    I tried putting the thermostat probes in the cage, and it got way to hot.

    But when I put them between the pad and the cage the don't get hot enough.

    The oddest thing is the downstairs is cooler than the upstairs. I never noticed that. At night it's well into the mid 60's.

    I think the easy answer would be to put them upstairs where the ambient temp is higher. But there's really no room up here.


    Should I put a piece of 6mm insulation under each cage?


    I am really starting to think I wasted 65 dollars on pads that are to small.

    I thank Mr.S for his advice. Anyone else have anything to add? It would be most welcome?
