your welcome, i would ust say, make sure the temps are ok and give him time. don't handle him at all for a week or so until he realizes u r actually one of the good guys and are taking good care of him =]

He's hiding probably because of the fact he's in a shed. This is probably also the reason he's grumpy. If you couldn't see all that well and a giant hand kept coming into your house, you'd be pissed too! Sounds like you're really trying though, so I'm sure you'll have him happy soon enough!
