I chose 2 because I like to see 'ALMOST' everything. I like that breeders keep some secrets in their pocket. I think it helps the BP Market.

At the same time if I want a sugar, for instance, I am going to bug the guy who has one on their collection page.

As a businessman, I would not put anything on my web page that I'm not selling. What difference would it make if I'm working on a new morph? If it's not for sale, then don't put it on the page. If you want to beat your chest and say you have this or that and you're going to be working on the next big morph, go ahead, but I don't know what purpose this serves.

If you want to increase your page visitor count, then post a bunch of pictures. If you want to sell your stock, then post what's available.

    Just my opinion,

I like to see the parents of the animals I'm buying--it's always a selling point for me, when I'm given that opportunity.
So, I put my collection up on my site, and give others the opportunity to see the parents of animals they're considering buying.

Even if an individual snake is gorgeous, if the parents are butt-ugly, you know it could be a fluke that won't be passed on to offspring in the future, so it's really quite important.

To other points, I also like to see the collection. Especially this time of year when nothing is really hatching yet, I like to see which breeders are potentially going to produce what I have on that year's shopping list. And I've always liked Ralph Davis's birthing records but it looks like he's kind of phased that out

I like the complete collection. Even if they don't have many available, you can get a feel for their effort and results.

I get very nervous when someone doesn't have a professional looking storefront with contact info and everything. I have been calling the breeders I am going through accept one who's phone number I don't have from a kingsnake classified.

I gotta say classifieds and the like make me nervous!! I much prefer a professional storefront website.

I personally like seeing the entire collection. When large breeders only put a select few breeders on their collection page it makes me think they aren't proud of all their other snakes. If you want to save space, do smaller pictures.

Ok so paly devils advocate here.. Lets say I have a "One eyed one horned flying purple people eater Bee" and I'm working with it for a few seasons. Its a proven combo and in 2012 (before the world ends) I just start showing pics of all the crazy combos that never mad it to my collection page. Would you as a customer feel cheated by not knowing that I was working with that in case you were looking for one..I didn't have any for sale but you had money to burn and for the right price I would have let one go.

From a business standpoint, I personally don't share everything I have or have in the works (it's like giving others the idea to shoot for the samething), if theres a chance I had something I was willing to part with for "the right price" the animal would be on my available page. Eventually when I get around to ever building a site, I will not have my entire collection on it because I dont like the idea of the possibility of a potential burglary.

I'm ok with putting all of my animals up, because we're going to have the surveillance system from hell--my husband is a tech geek, and he's already making plans. lol
