    You can bump up the UTH to about 93 to 94, add a smaller uth on the cool end, cover as much of the top as safely as possible since your using a lamp. I personally preferred a CHE over a lamp when I had tanks.

    A large water bowl under the lamp can help with humidity.
    A humid hide can be utilized during shed periods, just keep it damp at all times as soon as the snake shows a shed coming on :)

    im also having troubles with keeping up my humidity...im going to be getting a uth asap, because everyone says lamps suck humidiy right out of the tank. so my humidity sits around 30% when i leave it unnatended but if im spraying down the bedding 3 times a day and tossing it, and using damp towels i can keep it around 50%

    You can also try reducing the thickness of the substrate on the warm side down to about 1/2 inch or so. This will let a little more heat radiate through...
