It may not be too accurate, but I've measured the sheds from my corn snake to get a ballpark measurement.

The best way to measure them is to measure their weight. Length is almost impossible to get 100% right but weight is always right on. It is easier to tell if they are gaining or loosing weight if you weigh them every once in a while.

i put her on the bed and i pulled her tail back and my girlfriend measured, my gf is starting to warm up to her haaha its cute
