The OP is in Asia so he is about 15 hours ahead of us here so it would have been late at night his time. Hopefully by now he is able to get to a vet... Good luck...

When my snake prolapsed, I had let him get a little too cool (about 68F) and his feces came out incompletely digested. He also had parasites, it probably was a combination of the two.

If you can, research the net about prolapses. It is possible - if you use a damp q-tip - to gently push the prolapse back in. When I saw my vet about it, he told me if it happened again, I could do this myself. Sugar water helps shrink the prolapse and keeping your snake on damp paper towels will help protect the tissues, if you decide to wait for a vet visit.

At any rate, don't feed for at least a week afterwards to allow everything to heal, you don't want him to prolapse again the next time he defecates. You still might want to go see a vet to check for parasites.

I took her to a vet, All i was given was an antibiotics, I keep it moist now, replace wet it with tissue now n then cos that sure is smelly..what other advice should u guy recommend? do u really think i should move her enclosure to colder room like and air conditioner room. will i live is Asia, And the weather now is hot. ard 88F

Viper...that sounds wierd to me...I would of thought they would of gotten it back in....and taken a look to see if she needed a stitch or not...(sometimes they will need an extra stitch to help in the future.)

I will wait for others to post but at this point I personally would make another appt. with a different vet. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

That prolapse will not return on it's own. That is one of the worst I've ever seen. That snake will die if it does not get help. I know you took it to a vet, but is there anyone else that you think would help you more than the last vet? I've heard of old remedies, but I'm not sure I want to post them here. They could be considered a little too wild for some on this forum. I'm not sure I'd want to try them, but this snake is not going to get better on it's own.

Do you have a zoo with herps in your town? Maybe someone there would be willing to help, if not maybe they could guide you to a qualified vet.

ps Post new pictures of the prolapse.

keep it moist and wrap it with a wet towel thats soaked in a sugar paste.

The sugar causes the Hemipenes to shrink and retract a bit.

Sugar paste is one of my old time remedies, but that usually works on a small prolapse. I don't think sugar will work on something this bad. If it's not repaired soon, the prolapse is going to start to decay and we know what's going to happen after that!

Damn I never thought how bad this prolapse is until you mentioned the word 'decay'.
