That low? Shes probably around 10% right now since i haven't misted in a few days, and she just ate a small meal i think. Im not disturbing her tonight and I'll let the wound dry out and then resume the treatments tomorrow.

I would have rather her bitten me, or Jason, my friend who actually got her out of the car.. He can take a bite lol. But as long as she's fine other than this im good.

She took a f/t hopper mouse for me earlier in the evening so thats working well.

Yea, I keep them in the basement, which is about 30%, and in rack systems with only a few holes in the front of the tubs, which bumps it up a bit higher. 10% is really low. Do you keep her in a tank? Glad to hear she already ate for you. As long as mine are not in shed, they eat every time...

no shes in a tub, i dont actually measure humidity anymore. I've got a helix with a temp gun for the rack im just not making an effort to mist her tub. She has a full water bowl if she needs to hydrate, and i did give her a soak the first night, but i don't feel thats a good idea with an open puncture wound. Its right near her belly scales so anything on the floor can enter the wound. I check her like 3 times a day to make sure there is no feces or urine to cause an infection.

Would it be ok to bump her humidity to 30-40%?

give me a few more days on the full body pics, she just went into a shed cycle, good sign! dull and pink belly and just starting to go blue. She is crazy iridescent right now though so i can't WAIT to see what she looks like when she sheds.

She's gonna be hot!

I have never had to deal with an open wound like that, but I do keep my hatchlings on moist paper towels while thier umbilicus is closing up. As long as it is clean and not too wet, I do not see that it would cause any problems. If it were me, I would try to get the humidity up to around 35 - 40%. Most of my snakes have shed soon after I have received them, most likely because of stress, so the extra humidity will help.

good enough evidence for me. i misted the tub to give her some humidity and ill be keeping an eye on the paper towels.
