    Re: Mouse babies!
Well, there are still 5 pups... 3 of them are gone. And I think I know what happened between the females when I first got them with the ear chewing.

I've been making sure that they have food everyday, and checking on everyone, but this past week I've been pretty sick and sleeping a ton, and I guess I let them run out of food (I feel horrible) but 3 of the babies are gone, and poor Oreo's ears have been chewed on. Neither of the big girls have been chewed on, but it looks like Nip went to town on the poor boy. She doesn't deal well without food I guess. =/ I'll be double checking their food until I get a better set up.

On a happier note, Oreo decided to man up and Gee is about to pop! She's huge! I'm hoping she will pass her color on to her babies... I'll be keeping a few depending on the sexes of the babies from this first litter, and I really like the gold! ^_^

Whoo! 7 (or 8) more little mouse babies! When I said Gee was about to pop I guess that was litterally. Once I left the lab not too long after I posted this I went home and checked on the mice and there was a pile of squeeking pinks mixed in the the 5 older guys ^_^
