    Well, a snake can't just magically turn into a pastel. The coloring can change a bit as they age. Some get more brown, and some get more yellow. It just depends on the snake.

    I was never insinuating that my snake mystically turned into a pastel I know that she is a normal I have just never seen a normal get more yellow. I have always seen them become browner as they get older its weird to me. I have kept and worked with snakes for 15 years and in my experience they tend to get darker as they get bigger

    Maybe you are lucky and got a nice normal. If it is a light or yellowish color breeding it to the pastel may get you some nice yellow pastels
