    Re: Injection Question
I am going back to the vet on Thursday (2 weeks after first appointment) to see if she will still need more medication. I will probably ask for it either way to be safe.

Well I just injected her and I went in deeper like the videos showed and there was still a tiny bump but nothing like there was and after a minute of massaging it, it went away almost completely.

When should she stop showing signs of the RI? She is still wheezing pretty heavily..

If you are going into the muscle maybe the small bump you are seeing is just where the needle went in and raised the scales a bit?

    Re: Injection Question
When my BP rescue was given an injection for tapeworm, it left a pretty decent bump that only lasted for about an hour. The vet (who gave the injection) said sometimes they get bumps and sometimes they don't, it tends to depend on the snake and their size. If you aren't sure you are doing it right, I would ask your vet to show you again. But in my human health care experience, intramuscular injections ALWAYS cause some degree of swelling and a bulge before the fluid spreads out, though it should dissipate quickly as the medicine is absorbed.

i never noticed a bump before until i started using a bigger needle cuz my snake got a lot bigger. maybe that has something to do with it
