Yeah I have a mile a list long as well.

I'm going to limit myself to a pyxie frog if I can ever find one for sale, and then in the meantime i'm saving up for a leachianus.

I might splurge on any red female crested geckos that are a good deal, as they're not too common for me to come across and I'm really powering up for my decent red crestie project.

    Jay Bunny,

Thats funny. Im in the same boat. I bought a few too many snakes recently but its all worth it in the end. As long as you aint taking food off the table, the heat is on, and the electric is on I say do what you want!

But yeah credit cards are evil LOL

I only spend what I have up in my special snake account. Everything else goes into my savings for a house.

Just spent $700 on a Pewter and $400 on a Rack and now I am down to only about $200 left in the bank (for snakes).... And there's a Bredli for sale for $500 shipped that I am dying to get. But she has to wait.

    Will power! :gj:

My wife has run up some credit cards. I'm severely pissed about it.
I've never spent more on a credit card than I could easily pay at the end of the month.
Spending money that you don't have is not a good idea. With the exception of home loans, and of course every one needs tansportation(a car, truck, etc.).
I say use some of the tax return towards paying off your credit card debt. Ball pythons live a long time and I beleive this hobby has the potential to be very interesting for a long, long time.
Just my thoughts on the subject: Pay off the credit card debt and tell your husband you'll never do it again. Then pinch pennys, nickels and dimes; and buy a pied instead of a het-pied.

Please be very careful when building debt on a credit card. I know my share of people that are really scewed because of credit cards. I know someone that told me that they didn't care how much they spent on the credit card as long as they could afford the monthly payments. I then showed them that it would take them somthing like 24 years to pay off the credit card if they continued to pay the minimum each month.

I have one credit card, and it's tied to my checking account, so if I use the card, it comes right out of checking. No way I can overspend that way.

    Good Luck!
