I think my comp has a virus, anyone know anything about computers?

What browser are you using? It should be under tools, and at the very bottom of the drop down box list.

I know a few people that had similar trojan horses. The only thing that worked for them was to restore to a restore point.

I was using firefox and nothing was working, i restored it to 2/8/2010. I really appreciate everyones help!

I have nothing to add to the advice given here, great advice all around (what with the safe modes and everything .. perfect). My only advice after this is you NEEEED to have you Hard Drive scanned. Some live on the driver for weeks before you notice stuff going on.

You must know a computer guy, or know someone who knows someone. Ask if they can scan your pc for you. I have seen this come back again and again. One of the users in the office has had her PC cleaned 5 times in the past 2 months.

You need to make sure your are 100% clean, and protected for the next one. It is vital.

I used AVG free and free Avast and never have any computer problems

I've used AVG but Avast is better.
