Where did you find Reptile Relief up here? Believe it or not, but all of my normal stops at reptile specific shops led me to nothing. They didn't have a single mite killer at all. I had to go to Petsmart.

There's a local Ma & Pa pet store here that carries both Reptile Relief and Mite-Off. I live in Southern Ontario. I work there part time as well.

I am not sure how RR will work for you.. I know it took me forever to get rid of the Mites using Mite-Off and that was with cleaning and spraying the snake and his enclosure every other day.

Again, I suggest getting the PAM. One spray and you're done.

Isn't PAM a post treatment product? It's my understanding that Reptile Relief is to kill the mites and eggs and PAM ensures they don't come back.

I recently had a mite scare, and I got recommondations from 2 close friends to use Equate, that you can pick up at Walmart to treat the cage itself. I used Reptile Relief to to treat the snake outside of the tub, which i put it on my hands and rubbed the snake down with it.

Worked perfectly. Most people are afriad to use Equate, considering it hasn't been proven to not harm snakes like PAM has. I have had no issues using it, as of others who use it on a regular basis.

Hope all is well, and that you fix your problem!

Ha Thanx! u answered my question also lol :-)

PAM will do both. Kill mites and eggs now, and lasts up to 30 days (if I remember correctly).

The thing with PAM is it should not be sprayed on the animal itself. RR and Mite-Off say to spray it on the animal. RR and Mite-Off ware off after a day or so while PAM lingers and kills any mites that exist now and hatch later. I do not think they kill the eggs but I may be mistaken.
