Re: 9 Foot Snake Under House In Fla.
I just checked the thread to see if there were any updates. The people who were volunteering to help said the home owner never answered or returned any calls. It almost makes you wonder if they belong to the neighbor and the whole thing was staged for attention. I kind of wonder if that guy was telling a lie when he said...

“We tried to shoot some bottle rockets to scare it back out, to get someone out here to trap it, but no one is willing to come out without payment and we can't afford it,” said homeowner Alan McGraw.
I'm thinking, " you can't afford it? What about that fat roll of 20's that Senator Nelson slipped in your pocket?"...

I read through the whole thing the FWC went and identified them as two Boa's a 7-8 foot boa and a 3-4 foot boa. Many people offered to try and remove the snakes and give them vet care and good homes. The home owner finally answered a call and said that it smelled everywhere and with the low temperatures most believe the snakes died :(

I'm thinking those other snakes were probably not the same thing if they were even there. Likely some native colubrid like black racers.

"Odd"????? You're kidding right???? This is a news report. BG finds it "odd" that the baies are not spitting fire and chasing kids in the neighborhood.:taz:
