I think the Colts will edge it out. I think they have a better defense. As good as Brees is, Manning is a much better field general. His ability to scan a defense and tweak the play far exceeds Brees's ability to throw an accurate pass. However, if the Saint's D is able to pressure Manning like they did Favre, that will give them their best chance to win. Both teams have a great offense with many weapons to use. It will ultimately come down to which defense plays a better game, which includes turnovers and QB pressure.

Gotta be the Saints for no other reason that it'll break my little heart if they lose. But, we did make it to the SB which is a feat in and of itself.

Did Manning and the Colts offense not pick apart the best defense in the NFL (the Jets) during the 2nd half of the AFC Championship?

Also...I think the Colts D is underrated. There D is FAST and quick to the ball. NYJ have a good run game and the Colts D shut that down too.

I like the Colts because I feel they are a better road team then the Saints are.

Are you serious, you're going to quote a win/loss? I've seen the best team lose to a crappy one, and that crappy one play the #2-3 and lose, then the #1 team play the #2-3 and win, but yet they lost to a crappy one? Anybody can beat anybody, and anybody who is serious about sports knows that. It's not about that. Who want's it the most, who's willing to play better for it, more physical? Know what I mean? I've seen the Browns almost beat the Vikings, 34-20 in the first week, now yet they lose to the Lions? 38-37, they almost beat the Chargers, 30-23. They even beat the chiefs LMFAO, 41-34, they lost to the steelers, then they won when they played later in the season, and the Steelers are a good team. You tell me?

    Edit:
I never said Colts didn't have a good defense. I simply stated that Saints have a horrible run D, yet the Colt's don't really have a running game, then I stated that the Saints & Colts pass D is pretty good, or something along that line. Colt's defense is really quick, especially the D-line. Jet's weren't moving the ball too well running, so yes while they were doing good in the 1st half, they got tired out during the second half, after turn-overs, and not managing the clock well. I played football, how about you? I played Strong Safety, I know first hand, how tiring it can get if your offense doesn't move the ball well, not to say my team never did, but against an arch rival, both teams struggled offensively.

    Edit again:
While i'm going to give IND's D credit, for hurting the Jets run game. They seemed to have more-less gotten away from the rotation they kept during the season. Not too much, but enough. Indy's also got some very talented receivers, and with a QB like Manning, he makes people shine. Jet's shut down Wayne & Clark, but Collie & Garcon stepped up.

With all that typing you failed to say WHY the Saint offense is better.

Feel free to browse post season stats since you are saying the regular season is irrelevant... http://www.nfl.com/stats/team?season...POST&Submit=Go

    ...and post season experience.

I said Manning has more post season experience if you read. Like I stated, if you had any real football experience, you would know that stats don't mean everything. Saints are the better offense because of the dual threat. Colt's only have one real threat. That's like saying the Jets D is the best, best in what category? If you're going to call me out on something, make sure you get all the facts next time.

    EDIT:
Saints also have better PPG, and through the season they have more yards/game not to mention again points per game. You can't base a team on 2 games. I'm going through the season.

Didn't realize I was speaking to Joe Theismann...

BTW...why are throwing stats at me when are saying they don't mean everything? Your response is a contradiction in itself...
