The Bells produced a butter yb in either 2005 or 2006

Pretty sure this 2008 guy was the first Butter x Yellow Belly(Butter Belly) produced. :)

He looks very different than the Lesser Y.B. Ben produced.

This is a sweet combo, should make for some good crosses in the future. The yellowbelly gene is not done yet!!!!

The Bells definitely produced one before 2008 as I have an email with their availability list from earlier in the year with them selling an 07 butter yb

I think they did in fact. ;) I spoke with a friend this morning who knows someone who got an 07 female from them. However, producing and PUBLISHING is the accepted standard/procedure on first produced combos.

Many larger breeders are not so excited about making something new -- been there, done that/too busy running a business -- which is there choice. For instance, I happen to know Reptile Industries (Bell's) also produced a Super Pastel Ivory in 2007 -- never posted a photo. I live by the "PRODUCE IT AND POST IT" philosophy. :D
