Re: high or low white pied ball python
Didn't vote because like others, I like a good 50/50 Pied. If that's not an option, I guess a low white as long as it's got a decent amount of white. Nothing less than 30% white.

Medium white. They make really good color combos.
Re: high or low white pied ball python
Didn't vote I like 50/50 when breeding to a albino or even lav alb you need to see some of the pattern whick makes these combos great. I know high whites or low whites can throw different levels of white. but if you're going for an all white snake get a lucy
Re: high or low white pied ball python
I love the high white what better looking pied ball python then one with a ton of white and a few nice massive patch's of color can't beat that at all.

Re: high or low white pied ball python
I voted low white because high whites look more like paradox BELs.
There are two things I prefer in pieds that don't necassarily have to do with how much total white there is. First, I like when the tail has a good chunk of solid white. Second I like when they look sort of like a surge protector.
Re: high or low white pied ball python
I'd like to meet the person who could hatch a pied like this girl and honestly still say that they "prefer" low white pieds!

Re: high or low white pied ball python
Honestly, this type of high white pied doesn't appeal to me. If I'm going that white, I'd buy/breed a BEL. Just my opinion.

BEL's are awesome, don't get me wrong. But if you are into pure white, then a BEL comes in second though to a pied as far as whiteness. BEL's aren't leucistics in a true sense of the word - they've just been tagged with the lucy name because of the white. If I were to buy a BEL, I wouldn't want it to dirty up, gray up, a yellow stripe down it's back, etc.....like you normally see with Blue and Black eyed lucy's as they get older. I guess my perfect snake would be a lesser-pied - which would be the best of both worlds...........a pure white BP.
