Would you rather...

A "Het" female can't produce anything more than the father and is likely to be replaced (depending on how much space you have).

A "Pastel Het" can possibly upgrade the father in first clutch and will likely stay in your collection much longer than just a "Het".


The $$ value of your first clutch from the Pastel Het will probably equal the value of your first 2 clutches from the plain Het. added together.

I actually already have them. This is more a production plan for the season rather than a "getting" plan. :)

I was just curious how people plan their collections in terms of recessives.

I have to say I would rather buy a pastel female het this year. :D

Personally with my collection I'd get a het this year :D

But the pastel hets are tempting!

Well if you put it that way then, I would get het females and a visual het male now.
