It will be close, but I believe she can, that rat is a tad bit wider then her, but after she constricts it, it will go down a bit. Plus the fur makes the rat seem a little wider then it actually is.

    EDIT:
Maybe push the legs inwards a bit more before you do.

alright cool man. ill try. and if its a little big i dont think it will hurt her. i mean unless it was like way bigger. but this big even if it was a tad bigger i dont think it will do anything. i mean they can stretch. haha

I think she could do it but how long have you had her? She looks (in a few of those pics) to be very thin...maybe it is just the pic but looks like some loose skin. I would personally feed smaller more often until she gets some feedings down. But that is me and I am paraniod as all get out.

well she eats great. she was really thin when i got her. she is finally beefing up... bout time. i just want to try rats. alot of people say they are better for them. so i want to try. this is the smallest they had. so i just want to know for sure if she can get it down. that would be great if she could. she needs to grow.

Not that it's better for them, just when they get bigger rats have suitable sizes to where you don't have to feed 3 mice per feeding.

Ok...so you have had her and she has had some feedings down...perfect. How often are you feeding her? The only reason I ask is because in that first pic in the first post she looked really skinny...could of been the angle.

I am dealing with that right now with a newbie I picked up at a pet store...just an ity bity baby and we are trying to put her on an every 3 day feed schedule until she looks healthier...??

um i feed her every sunday. and she refuses any other food besides on sunday never wednesday or thursday. she has to be fed on sunday. its funny. shes really picky. i just need to know bout the rat. cause if she could get it down bigger food would be way better. cause she eats a big ole mouse every sunday. but that rat is a tad bigger. i just want her to be able to eat bigger food. cause she will only eat once a week. so i figured a bigger mouse would be better. but i saw the rat and it looked bout the same size as the mice i get. just like a size bigger. so i just want to know if she can get it down

She can do it, and you will notice her pick up by switching to rats.
