    Hi,

    That doesn't look like any scrape or physical injury I've seen (for the little thats worth ).

    It is in patches all over the side of the snake ( in at least two patches definately ) not just in that ring area you mentioned.

    It looks like a burn or infected sections of skin as the others have mentioned - it really does need to see a vet to be assessed properly.

    No that is NOT what we are saying at all. You need to have it looked at by a vet ASAP.

    No. You need to take the animal to the vet, or it could die from the injury, especially if it's become infected like it looks.
