i didnt even think of the shelter.. I should try there. I have looked on craigslist but here everybody is wanting to sell theirs for outrageous prices.. I am going to keep looking though. His birthday is the 25th of Jan so I have a few days ; )

Rather than getting a snake from petco or the like, I would suggest you find a breeder on here (that will be quite a bit cheaper, too) or even try finding a slightly older animal on craig's list. Just remember to always use your best judgement when picking out a snake.
