    Everybody has common sense about things they are interested in.... Its kind of like the whole pit bull, rottweiler, doberman thing.     I always just find what the person grilling me loves and ask them if the common misconceptions around it are true. Typically that opens their minds to listen and learn a little. Avoids arguement and brings out a little real thought.
