It is being sold at a pet store?? Is it marketed for vegetarian reptiles only? Or does it actually say it is safe for carnivores...

There isnt anything a carnivorous snake would eat in the wild that would brighten its colors. So I cant believe a product like this would even be for a carnivore..

    Doesnt make sense.

Some herbivores eat plants that contribute to their color. Some insectivors do too.. But not the rodent eating snakes. It doesnt happen in nature so why risk it.

That is some crazy stuff....it is marketed like a vitamin supplement.

I would not use this at all. Mainly I wouldn't trust it to be safe!!!

This is the first time I've ever seen it. If you try it out show us what you think. I'm not willing to try it on mine but if you do , I'd still like to see it.

I would never give my animals something that i thought was harmful to them.

I'd never use it on my snakes, and on top of that, I think it's most likely a scam and doesn't work.

This just seems wrong to me. It reminds me of those Junior High science tests where you take white roses and leave them in food coloring for a few days and they take on the food colorings color.

I don't think snakes drink enough water for that to effect them though.
