It's kinda funny that you say that. I had my night drop timer become detached for about a week this season. So far, so good though. I still have building and ovulations taking place. Thanks God:please:

That wont harm anything either. Snakes do it naturally when thermo-regulating their body temps when moving from warm to cool in the tubs. I never drop temps there for they get 80/92 all year and never had a problem. Nothing will happen at all as my females will still go to the warm side here and there while developing.

I still catch them on the hot spot also. They actually like to spend a lot of their time right in between the hot spot and cool side.

Yes i will never deny them warmth. They can still cycle in the room temp of 80 no problem. If you must cycle them try a trick i did with some females of using cold water in their bowls for them to wrap and can help kick start their developing.

I might try that trick! I have a couple girl who seem to have slowed their developing down. Their follicles are just about the size of shooter marbles and growing SLOW.

They might just be developing just fine. This isnt a race, they go slow as it is and its a waiting game. If your watching them daily then its going to feel as their doing nothing. I never palpate my females as i like the number of eggs to be a surprise.

I'm definately waiting...That's for sure. While talking with a bigger breeder, he mentioned that females will actually arrest the development of follicles at some point for a little bit. I think that is where at least 2-3 of my girls are right now.

The wait is worth it.
