Re: NEW pied female balol python....
I really prefer the low white pieds, the busted pattern just makes them beautiful and adds alot of charactor IMO. She is gorgeous.

Re: NEW pied female balol python....
I've actually seen more low whites that strike my fancy than high whites. I think she's a beauty. I'm not that big a fan of pieds but at some point maybe I'll be able to get one.

I'm not trying to break the mood or anything like that but I wouldn't have
done that trade - no questions asked. You gave the guy a seemingly great 0.1 spider that is ready to breed. You could have bought a spotnose, chocolate or something like that and created some cool combos with a paradox spider.
Or you could have saved some money up and then bought a 1.0 pied to go with your spider - coconut pieds looks awesome. I'm sorry to say it but patience and some saving would have put you in a better spot.
Re: NEW pied female balol python....
And you're also giving him money? You're getting ripped. I'm sorry but I pressume that you can get a nice pied for approx. US 700 - 900 , and you're already giving him 200 - then you're only missing 500 - 700.
Please note that I'm not trying to break the mood or create a bad aura but I'm almost certain that most breeders wouldn't trade a female like that for a non-breedable female.
Re: NEW pied female balol python....
The spider was worth about 600-800. The Pied about 800-1000. Pretty even trade.
Nice pied:gj:

you sound right, but it will take long before i even breed my spider, i know she's 1400grams but i want to get a female that is like 2000grams then breed... at her eating rate i know she'll be close to 2000grams in a couple months, but i can't resist the pied female.... lol
Re: NEW pied female balol python....
Beautiful pied girl! Pieds are my favorite morph!

Nope - it is a bad trade. If he saved a little up then you know as well as I do that the hatchlings coming from that clutch is much more worth than a 0.1 pied.
I mean he could almost buy anything and breed it with his growing 0.1 spider. Black pastel, chocolate, albino, ghost, spotnose, fire, yellowbelly, pinstripe, axanthic, lesser, butter and so on into eternity.
And she's even a good eater - it is a no brainer. He should keep her and breed with a decent male! :) Once the hatclings are hatching then he can buy himrself a high-white pied. Besides from keeping a great 0.1 spider, gaining some nice combos - then he can buy yourself a high-white or even a pair if he want. He is much better of in that manner!
Don't be insulted as my intentions are sincere and good. :) And why should he trade his hard labour (it takes some time to get a female that big) to start all over again - it dosen't make any sense!

Think twice. :)
You should save some cash up and buy yourself a 1.0 pied or something else lesser, lesserpastel or something else (lesserbees still cost a pretty penny, and queenbees are nice) and breed him with your 0.1 spider. She isn't far away from the 2000 gram point - she is almost ready to breed now (weight-wise).
Once the babies are hatching then you still have your 0.1 spider, some combos or spider-het 'something' and then you can buy yourself a pied or pied pair. :) It may take time but it will be worth your while.
Believe me... If you offered the breeder a cute, but little 0.1 pied to trade with a spider at 1400 grams - he would say no in an instant.
