Issues Regulating Temp

The reptitemp is fine for two identical heat sources. I would definitely get a thermostat.

The 1/8th inch gap should not be causing such a low temperature. Your low house temperature is causing the temp drop.

Okay, good. Then I'll go get a thermostat today and hopefully that will fix this issue once and for all.
