Anyone have a stand mixer?

I have KA. It is old but it really works great.

We have a kitchen Aid from last year and it is the best I have ever had. Takes quite a beating here and no problems. It may not last as long, but only time will tell. I wouldn't have any other brand at this time. My sisters kitchen aid has to be 30 yrs old and still working its' heart out!:)

I'm heading to the store tomorrow to play around with both of them before I make up my mind but I really think I'm going with the cuisine art one. I'll let ya know which I go with and how happy I am with it.

I work at an antique mall and someone has a kitchen aid stand mixer from the seventies and I know they were better then and so I would bye it, except, its avocado green :-p If it was black or silver I'd probably go with that one as the lady will give it to me for 100 (65 less than what she has it priced in the store)

I know I could put it under the counter when I'm not using it but I really want a black or stainless steel one so that I can leave it on the counter and it'll match the rest of our kitchen appliances.
