Nice looking snake. That's the way to start the new year off. Superb Exotics is totally right. Couple months you'll have her to a health size.

A medium rat every two weeks is all I feed my adults and they're still growing plenty. In my opinion larges are overkill unless you're only feeding every 3-4 weeks. Unless we're talking about a monster 6 footer of course. :D

I'm prob the only one who thinks she looks adorable. I love thick snakes, but if she is overweight then it sounds like it might be unhealthy.

    Great looking Blood:gj:

It depends on each animal Chris, but telling you that's like preaching to the choir:D

My big ~6 foot McPeek Female eats a Large rat every 3 weeks and it's STILL too much. Each animals metabolisms different. She is going to be getting cut back as soon as she lays:please:

After that it's Mediums every 2 weeks.

Muffin- I agree with you! She is a very GOOD looking animal, I'm surprised more people haven't taken to these AWESOME snakes!

We are however just concerned bout the animals health and it's future as a healthy animal and successful possible breeder.

Here was a good chart from a while back.

I put her on the scale yesterday; she weighed in at about 11lbs and feels just a little bit mushy if you know what I mean. I have some medium rats in the freezer, I will try her on them for a while and see how she does. Last night she became a little active exploring the tub. Today when I swapped out the water bowl I touched her on the back and she hissed at me again. I don’t think that she was handled very much.
