All our carpets are feeding machines. Babies are all on appropriately sized mice, and the adults are eating rats :)

They are actually such strong feeders that it's dangerous for your fingers to open their cages if you arent careful ;)

Bredli actually tend to be better feeders than other carpets. The lower humidity required for them also makes them a bit easier to keep. I definitely think they're worth breeding and plan on doing so myself.

Thanks, that's what I like to hear. I am tired of picky feeders, ball pythons...

If you want a pair then get them, if you're worried they wont sell then dont breed them. if you breed them, be prepared to keep them just in case. it shouldn't be about "if" theres a market for them.. it should be about the animal itself.

I see where you are coming from, but when you own a snake business you have to take selling them into consideration.

bredli are real easy and very forgiving (husbandry wise)...I have bredli, diamonds, jags and irian jayas...all are rat eaters...The myth comes from jungle carpets which can get stuck on mice or guinea pigs forever. All of my carpets will take anything though.

Thanks for the info. I am glad to hear that they eat well on rats. Do you happen to know anyone that breed them, and has any available?
