Get indented kraft paper. My JCP can't piss through that stuff.

    One layer? Two layers?

    Wow.

I use a minimum of 5 layers per cage.

And while snake poo is smelly, it doesn't hold a candle to cat litterboxes, which are so smelly I try to con other family members into changing those out.

I like the vinegar idea, I'll have to try that. I've been using a very dilute bleach solution (rinsed thoroughly afterward), but only if the cage still smells of urine/poo after it's been wiped down with a damp paper towel.

Paper towels for the babies. Aspen for the adults. Newpaper for any snake that I have concerns over (sickness). I also use newpaper for all new snakes. Easy to see if the snake has any issues before they go into the snake room. I will also add some damp paper towels to an adult enclosure if they seem to be having trouble with a shed.

I keep my retic on paper towels... he does fine, and whenever he goes to the bathroom I just clean it up right away, and spray some Zoomed wipe-out in the tub itself, then wipe it down with a paper towel. Works great, gets rid of the smell, and I always have clean tubs. http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2752625

Same here. I do, however, use indented kraft paper for the large boas.

I love paper towels. Granted, I don't have any sub adults or adults yet. I have my biggest BP on Cypress Mulch and hate cleaning that stuff. Paper towels were much easier to spot if they've pooped or pee'd. Currently none of my snakes leaves puddles, but if they were I'd probly just put more layers down.
