OMG. Everyone else is right. That is not a pastel at all. When it comes to the different lines like Lemon (NERD), Graziani, Bell, Blonde.. They all have subtle differences and these people all produce their own distinct line.
I think people look at the color and think if it appears to be yellow then it must be a lemon but the color really has very little to do with it. Ive learned alot of lemon pastels will brown out like any other. It has more to do with the pattern of the markings and blushing. I have a nice looking pastel with great blushing but I do not know his background so I cant market him as any particular line no matter how much he may resemble one.
But that snake is a normal regular ball python. Its a light normal but a normal none the less.
Anyways thats pretty shady, that sucks. You can find a good looking pastel in many places now days very cheap and from a reputable breeder. Mine is actualy from sloan reptiles here in the forums. :gj:

Re: Is it lemon pastel?
o-m-g seriously?
That isnt a pastel at all. And if you didnt know that by looking at the picture maybe you should read up on snakes before you adopt :)
Don't kick the guy in the nuts. lol. He may be some goofball who also got told this was a lemon pastel. Or, he may be a total jerk. Either way, no sense in going to jail over it. :taz:
