Wound on his head?

I would make an effort to keep humidity up until he has a couple normal sheds in a row. If he's not eating, or continues to not heal with the next couple sheds, I'd take him to the vet.

Yes, sheds have been a real problem, as has humidity. Clagary is pretty dry, especially since winter hit, but we got a humidifier in the room now, and with twice-daily spraying in the tank we seem to be able to keep it above 60%. Does that sound adequate, or should we be trying to get it even higher?

50-60% is what you want to try and keep for normal humidity. Once you see the signs of an upcoming shed ( pink belly, cloudy eyes, etc...) go ahead and bump up the humidity to around 70% until the shed is done...

had one get a hole like that ontheir head the littleguy healed right up I kept it neo up every otherday. after 4 sheds it was completely gone and i can't tell whaich snake it was now. Mine got theirs by pushing against the tub lid .

It possible was near the plant and got scared and jerked head back and caught self on the wire, nocking the glue off and doing the damage. watch it lose the plant and keep it neo and be fine.

I would also say this is the case. I have a lot of hatchlings that get this from rubbing in the tubs. In my cases it seems to heal with a shed cycle or two.

Thanks again for all the advice. We've been keeping the humidity up with thrice-daily misting, and he's heading in to this first shed since the incident now. Fingers crossed!
