ive observed this in my own bp, i think he is looking for somewhere to hide.
they often rub their noses up against something to see if it will give way a little and offer a place to hide.
if your bp is uncomfortable in his enclosure, he'll rub his nose up and down the glass, looking for a fault point that will give way.
basically, whenever your bp is moving, hes looking to eat, poop, change temperature or hide. youll probably notice that he doesnt rub his nose against you so much if you offer him natural cover when your holding him.
