Glad to see your ok for the most part. Sucks about your car but all they are is a bunch of metal and fiberglass. They can be replaced very quickly. You cant replace a life. Glad to see the lord watching out for you!

Glad to see that airbags and the car companies were watching out for him too!

I like to see credit go to all those who deserve it :)

Airbags (front, side curtain, and all others) are a wonderous thing.

The tatoo on your neck says, "It's not a tragedy to die doing..." ..what? I imagine that it says "what you love" and I hope driving isn't something you love...

    I have a 2001 Firebird WS6 with 400 HP/400 TQ and I love to drive.

thanks everyone. i made it through the night so that pretty much cancels out any unseen head injury. i was scared the docs had missed something and i would not wake up. like natasha richardson (r.i.p.)

and the back of my neck says its not a tragedy to die doing soething you love. the story behing it is i used to race motocross and during a race one day i came up short on a jump and hit the face of the landing it was like flying into a brick wall. i hit the ground hard enough with my head that it cracked my helmet knocked me out almost colapst a lung and for a few mins i could not feel my legs. i was scared to death. but once i recovered i was back on the track. the only thing that could stop me was when my wife said she was pregnant. and i said ok i have to slow down for my family. and when i was in that crash yeserday all i could think about was seeing my little girls giggling face again and getting to hold my wonderul wife. and thank god they were not with me.

So you've been lucky on a more than one occasion involving motored vehicles.

You should get a tatoo below that one that says, "The tragedy is leaving behind the ones you love".

You got pretty lucky there man.

Funny how we all spend all this money and time on our herps and hobbies.

But when it comes down to fearing for your life or fear of dying, the only thing we can think about is whether or not we are going to get to see our families and wives faces again.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I hate coming up short on landing! I had a friend about 5 years ago I was riding with and he came up short and the spokes broke off the front tire and went into his knee.
