Re: Charlie only goes in one hide?
yea your right i guess im leaving it in haha thanks everyone
Re: Charlie only goes in one hide?
Oh yeah definitely leave it in. Its not about whether or not your BP uses the hide on a regular basis its about creating the proper environment. What if your thermostat in your house malfunctions or someone turns up the heat without you noticing. If your house is 5 degrees warmer your snake might want to move to the other side. What if you thermostat or rheostat malfunctions, where will your BP seek refuge. Definitely leave the second hide if you have the space and its not hurting anything.
Re: Charlie only goes in one hide?
mine switches...when I first got him he was always in his hot hide, then he shed and moved to his cold hide, shed again and went back to the hot side it happens every time. He knows where each one is because I'll put him in his hot side just to show him where it is in case he forgot, but he moves. He's going into shed so he might go back. So you never know one day Charlie might decide he wants to move.
