    I use aspen shaves or wuteva you call that aspen stuff from petco that cost about 13 bucks for a big-o-block. Not soft aspen thou.

    i would try using the actual snake bedding ..i just took a picture of my setup to give you an idea .. ill upload them then and send you a new reply so you can check it out give me a min

    and yes before anybody says anything i do have digital temp/humidity guage in there you just cant see it in the pics i just keep the dial ones in for backup in case the battery dies or something

    i think it maybe shreded differently and from what i understand they use a certain part of the tree for the bedding

    There really is no difference. One is just shaved, the other is chipped.

    Using shaved aspen will not really make a difference.

    Way to make me look like a loser bkuz I have plastic dollar bowls for my snakes hides.(I only say that bkuz your set up is nice man) Im jealous

    i believe its just softer being shaved... but yea idk i never have any problems with my levels

    thanks im actually working on turning a entertainment center into a snake rack type thing with some nice plexi doors ... i like to display my snakes not keep them in tubs .. im going to add 3 more balls to my collection on the tv side of the entertainment center(which im turning into 3 seperate enclosures) and on the tall side where like you keep your stereo and stuff im making and arboreal type enclosure and adding a jungle carpet python or green tree python
