I used Reptile Relief. I didn't have time to order anything online so I just went to Petco. I haven't had any mite problems before so I am a rookie when it comes to that. It seems like I didn't have any luck with that little guy. I spray a small amount in my hand and kinda let him move around in it. I didn't get any on his head. He was slow moving days before the treatment though.

order that and treat all your cages with it. its works miracles. sorry to heaar about your little one but Provent-A-Mite can help prevent these problems in the future.

and yes it does sound like the cause of his death was caused by the mite treatment unfortunately.

Honestly the only way to be sure is to have a necropsy done. They are cheap, my vet is around $45.

I would guess internal paricites but that is only because of the vomiting. The spinning could be related to a toxin. It is super easy to find out if the animal died of a toxin or internal paricites, all the vet needs to do is look at the liver and do a fecal smear or floation.
