If I don't get mealworms I get the super worms and I feed it to my gecko as well. Two super worms fill her up, but I have to feed her close to 10 mealworms for that to fill her up. And the super worms really filled my Beardie up, and she just loooovveeddd them LOL. I'm thinking about buying the supers in bulk. I used to keep mealworms in bulk, and raise them to make beetles then produce more mealworms (which never happened, the beetles bred but I didn't get any eggs or baby mealworms). I'm assuming the supers are very similar to care for like the mealworms. Right now I have the supers in oatmeal and crushed bran. That's what I kept my beetles and my mealworms in last time I kept them and they did just fine.

and if you kept superworms fed/watered TOGETHER they never go into the pupua... they only go into pupua when they are alone...

you just have to watch were you store them, apparently the eat through thin plastic, we had a quite nasty surprise once:)

LOL, don't worry, I don't think they'll get out of the container I have them in any time soon. Though, one time I did have a hole in the bag I kept them in for the day (I made the hole earlier because I fed my sister's Sav Monitor) and 10 of them escaped and were digging into my carpet. I asked my brother to help me, but he brought the cat in my room and my cat found most of the super worms LOL. I got all 10 back, and in fact, 4 of them are in the super worm container right now LOL.:rofl:

Wow that's interesting. So if I keep them all together and keep them well fed they'll never go into the pupua and turn into the beetles? Even though I keep my mealworms together, they love to turn into beetles LOL. Right now, I have two pupua in the container of mealworms, but I haven't seen anything yet with the super worms.

just throw in a piece of a potato or a carrot every couple of days so they dont die of dehydration...

Ok sounds simple. The only thing I hate is when the substrate gets moldy from the vegetables being there.

yep supers are good but only for beardies ovver 16 inches

If you can find appropriate sized roaches they would be the ideal food for a beardie in my oppenion I actually was raising them for mine, but sold the colony because they grossed me out, now i buy em from the guy i sold em to... but they love em there good and healthy and alot of pet shops are selling them these days... may also help fatten em up to help with your other post...
