I have one works fine, I did set a heating pad under mine ot heat the water/ver so it keep humidity high with the bp eggs. At the time the eggs I got were not planned for and I was trying 2-3 differnt things while waiting on it.. and i had 100 % hatch rate I did place it on my desk in my room so i could watch it more closly.. ( might bee nwhy the eggs got a litle dehyrdated. SInce i had to keep wiping he considation off the look in part. but it worked great I did set it up so the thermostat ran it more than the wafer piece but i had it set to be on before the thermostat would kick and click off at a safer range it gave me more control onhe themps specially with hte heating pad on the bottom ( outside) to apply an more stable temp.. If I get eggs this year I plan on using it.. I just soak the vem and turn it on.. it be ready

I used a light disfuser to prevent the eggs from getting into the mix since i had it too wet .

We used one with a herpstat last year to hatch two clutches laid within three days of each other. We were able to fit them into separate containers that fit into the hovibator okay, which was great. 100% of our eggs hatched, even our 38 gram boob egg. So we were pretty darn satisfied, but we got new incubators for this year, just in case we have more clutches (knock on wood). But we have that hovibator up in the closet with its herpstat just in case we need it.

I didn't vote because I've never used it for reptile eggs. I've hatched everything from chickens to golden pheasants in an incubator much like the hovabator. Recently I hatched ducks and the temps need to stay around 98-99 degrees. The incubator did a great job at staying the same temp even with fluctuating temps in the room.

I used to use one. Worked great but they are small and only fit 1-2 clutches. I had a 100% hatch rate all healthy baby ball pythons with it and a t-stat. I also used a shoebox with vermiculite inside it.
