I don't think they enjoy it, I think they just tolerate it.

Snakes don't show affection, they are not sociable animals.

It wouldn't be far fetched to say the snake probably enjoys the heat from thier fingers though.

I have a few that like it and a few that tolerate it and a few that hate it. I do have 1 that really likes it. He especially likes the chin scratch. If you stop and move away he will move his head back to your finger for more. He presses his head into it as well. He is unlike any other ball Ive had since he has never balled up. I got him as a baby and he was jusy so curious and wanted to stick his face in everything, He has bever backed away when you touch his head. You could probably bop him in the nose and he wouldnt care. I named him Koa, hawaiian for brave.

Mine is the same way. She will move her head to my finger if I quit petting her lol. She hasnt ever balled up either. Well no I take that back she did one time when she was in shed but I didnt know she was and it scared her when I reached in there to get her. I actually have a picture of her with her head snuggled against my arm. She seems to really like to be held. :)

I would agree, half my bps dont mind head contact, other have the consistent personality of withdrawing from it. Over time bp's can become accustomed to this handling, but we need to remember that it is instinctive for them since there prey if I am correct in the wild usually comes from above?
