    So, basically, your females are too YOUNG yet to breed. That makes more sense. That has nothing to do with experience, that has to do with whether the animals are mature enough to breed.
    1500 grams is a safe weight for females. Some will breed at 1200, but there is a great deal of controversy over it.

    The albino girl is about 1485grams empty, the breeder I have been talking too told me he gets his girls going right about 1300 grams and 2yrs old or so. I trust his judgment, he has been doing it for quite a while. I'm asking for a little help because well as you can see I'm not 100% on what to do. I have thought about pairing them up in spring/summer and by the time she laid she would be 3yrs old and a good 2000 grams. Like I said balls are new to me and I'm just trying to be a little cautious so I won't run the risk of losing a wonderful animal. I feel hearing from others experiences vs reading a book can give a better real world picture on the idea.
