    I would suggest a dwarf locality boa like a hogg island. Vin Russo at Cutting Edge Herps is where I got my Surinams and he has beautiful Hoggs too. Another awesome snake is a super dwarf retic. They stay very slender despite how long they are. If you can find a real SD you would love it. Only about 6 to 7 ft max and so much personality. Mine cracks me up every day. Just be prepared for a very VERY fast snake when it wants to get the heck outa there lol!

    As for bloods. Im learning about them now. I just got a 1.1 pair of Borneo Short Tails. I was told the Borneos generally have a better temperment than bloods and stay just a bit smaller. Go to the blood forum to find out more about them. Let us know what you decide :)
