    Well being a vet, and being from a military tradition family...
    THANK YOU FOR Recognizing all that we former, and active military do to try to help keep every body safe.
    From drug busts, terrorists, search and rescue, peace and of course the peace keeping and war over in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    I was in the Navy active for 4 yrs, then 4 reserve, working on P-3 Orions- Sub Hunters, mine sweeper. My family is active in the Navy and has a tradition of Air Force, Army, and my husband is a former active Marine.

    Granddad was Army, pops Air Force, and I followed suit same exact AFSC(MOS) as pops even working in the same unit he was once the Superintendent of.

    Too bad I couldn't get that applebees dinner, but I'll be back in the states soon enough. Hope you other vets enjoyed the day/dinner and everybody else enjoyed the day off and reflection on where it comes from.
