    So %25 should be double het lav albino x het pied? If so I would just try and prove out the distinct het pied markers. I know you cant always depend on the markers but that would be my best bet?

    Yeah I think I will take the het lav out and in a few days see if the little guy is up to it.

    When dealing with hets if they are not both 100% het for the same thing then all babies will be normals with some possibly being het but they could only be sold as possible hets.

    I would try to pair the het pieds. The males can breed as early as 6 to 8 months if they are producing plugs. It may not be the best idea to breed so young but it does happen. If the male is ready he will breed. If not, there is always late season or next year.
