Yes, I know that, but it is one of the main reasons why a snake goes off feed or refuses food.

Some are better eaters than others.
But generally, ball pythons will at some point stop eating. It may only be for a week, but to them that means they're being overfed.
I personally feed a little less, and I get stronger eaters and give them slightly bigger meals. This way, I prevent most of my animals from going off feed when I don't want them to.

Males have been known to do it during breeding season and females will do it when gravid. A lot of people come online and ask why isn't my one year old male bp eating, and that's usually the best answer we have. Unless of course, there's stress and husbandry problems involved.

Stress is not the main reason either. The main reason is Husbandry issues which LEADS to stress which in turn causes feeding problems.
I have snakes on 3 months right now no food but they are in same setup they been in last 4 years and they do this every year.
