Re: So Confused
Something to keep in mind when popping males: after they are 2 weeks old, popping is not always 100% accurate, because the babies gain sufficient muscle control and some males may not evert their hemipenes. So in effect you pop a male, see no hemipenes, and assume it is female. Especially if you've not been properly taught how to do so. This sounds to me like the scenario you have run into. You've popped it as female, but the probing tells you male. Probing is much more accurate in older snakes, so if it was me, I'd go by the probing. But do keep in mind, probing can harm your snakes (as has been previously posted here) if you aren't doing it correctly.

So do you learn popping or probing from a doctor? I dont think it necessarily, is not like u operating the snakes. I think youtube itself is enuff for looking at probing..it a straight forward procedure, Ask someone to hole it, put lubricant on the set n probe it gently, deep is male n shallow is female,am i right?

The doctor part was just an example .If its so easy then why the cofusion? If you do not place it in the right area you will HURT your snake.

Re: So Confused
Maybe this is it. the normal is 100% confirm female, weight appx 2kg. I pair the albino again with another female. So is that a lock? It ease my mind a bit when i notice that, At least I think the albino is male now.
