    Ill get better pics. my first thought was that it wasnt even a burm but maybe a cross/hybrid. but I trusted my buddies instinct. apparently he was wrong. So he has an african rock python? dont know much about them and havnt even seen many to of been able to make the distinction

    Yep its a african rock python. Pretty much same basics as burms. Its a very pretty rock I just hope your buddy didnt pay to much for it because dwarf burms cost alot more then african rocks

    he traded an old junker car that had been sittin around. but even still at under 100 grams for a 6 month old african rock is that right? how big do these snakes get?

    I that's an Afrock then there is nothing dwarf about it.

    afrocks get just as big as burms do. And so far I dont believe there are any dwarf burms. But without papers or proof being a dwarf all you have is the sellers word for it and it could either not be 6 months old. Or it could of been maintenance fed.

    Agreed, that's a Rock Python all day long.

    Get it checked for parasites when possible and start getting some meals in that animal.
